Marketing Executive.

NEL Fund Managers Limited is looking to appoint an ambitious and highly motivated individual to work within its Marketing Team. We have recently launched two new Funds with a mandate to invest £30m into North East based businesses over the next 5 years and our clear aim is to scale and develop the business further, providing opportunities for career advancement. The successful candidate will be responsible for implementing successful marketing strategies for NEL and the funds we manage.

The role is ideally suited to individuals with:

  • A degree in marketing or equivalent qualification
  • Experience working in marketing, ideally within the professional service or finance sectors
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, and the ability to share consistent and effective messaging across NEL’s various platforms
  • Expertise in content marketing, to include strategy development, content creation and distribution
  • Competence in market research, with a focus on identifying customer needs and market trends
  • The ability to adapt swiftly to evolving market trends and NEL’s business needs
  • Experience of planning and actively participating in a range of events targeted at different audiences
  • The creativity to shape and deliver inventive strategies and marketing campaigns
  • Proven project management experience to handle a busy workload and meet deadlines
  • A collaborative mindset with the ability to work well as part of the marketing team, cross-functionally, and individually
  • Motivation, positivity and the tenacity to work through challenges
  • A desire to engage energetically with professional networks

 

This role is hybrid working dependent upon operational needs. Our Head Office is in Team Valley, Gateshead with our Teesside office located in Stockton.

The package available includes salary appropriate to qualifications and experience, personal pension contribution, and private health care. NEL is owned by an Employee Ownership Trust and all of our team are beneficiaries of the Trust.
